At the beginning of September 2020 we once again welcomed swimmers and teachers back to our pools!

The lockdown has been hard on everyone in many different ways so it’s been a delight to get back to a ‘new normal’ and back to pool swimming. At The Flipper Club Swim School, we’ve put in Covid-19 safe procedures including, hand sanitising points, social distancing, PPE for teachers and parents wearing face masks on poolside and temperature scanning on arrival. Swimmers have been encouraged to  arrive ‘beach ready’, bring their own equipment and where pool equipment has been used it is cleaned and sanitised ready for the next swimmers. We’ve got NHS Covid App QR code scanners at the main entrances to the pools. You’ll also find that we have a slightly staggered lesson times allowing for easier flow of swimmers through to poolside.

To help with the transition to the new routines for the swim school we’ve produced a short video highlighting the Covid-19 safe procedures:
