Working with Level Water

We are very proud to announce our alliance with the charity Level Water - offering subsidised swimming lessons to children with a physical disability, hearing loss or sight impairment.

Being as accessible as possible is really important to us at The Flipper Club and working with Level Water will help to make it easier for swimmers of all abilities to take part. The subsidised lessons means that swimmers who meet the Level Water criteria are able to access private 1:1 lessons for the same cost as a group class.

Level Water funding is available for swimmers:

  • between the ages of 4 and 11 years old

  • non-swimmers up to Stage 3 (10/15m)

  • have a physical disability, hearing loss or sight impairment

These specialist sessions by trained swimming teachers are designed to give young people who can't currently swim or need more dedicated attention. The lessons are designed to build their water skills in a fun, safe and inclusive environment. From the first lesson you’ll agree goals and aim to graduate further down the line. Graduating from the sessions could be into group lessons or to a local para swimming club.

If you would like to apply to Level Water then please visit their website to start an application: https://www.levelwater.org and if you’d specifically like to swim with us (we hope so!) then please mention The Flipper Club in your application!
